Demineralized Cancellous Block

Composition:Demineralized pure Cancellous bone.
Dimensions:Available in multiple block dimensions, including 15 × 15 × 30 mm and 20 × 20 × 30 mm configurations
Handling:Designed for convenient graft manipulation and efficient packing into bone voids
Performance: Demineralization exposes native bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) and other growth factors, enhancing the osteoinductive potential of the graft while maintaining an osteoconductive scaffold for bone regeneration.
Processing: Aseptically processed, freeze-dried, and terminally sterilized by gamma irradiation
Preparation: Requires rehydration in sterile and non-pyrogenic physiological solution prior to implantation.

Product Description

The Demineralized Cancellous Block is a human bone allograft derived from cancellous bone and processed through controlled demineralization to enhance its biological activity. The demineralization process exposes native bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) and other growth factors, supporting the graft’s osteoinductive potential while preserving the natural three-dimensional architecture of the cancellous matrix.
The graft is supplied in a structural block configuration that can be shaped and adapted intraoperatively for the management of bone voids and osseous defects. Its porous structure provides an osteoconductive scaffold that supports cellular infiltration, vascularization, graft integration, and new bone formation.
