Demineralized Cancellous Matchstick Graft is a bone graft composed of pure cancellous bone, designed in a matchstick-like form for precise placement within bone defects. The product is manufactured using freeze-drying technology and sterilized by gamma irradiation to ensure safety and structural preservation.
Owing to the demineralization process, this graft contains a higher concentration of Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMPs) compared to physiological levels, resulting in significantly enhanced BMP bioavailability. After rehydration, the graft acquires a sponge-like structure, making it particularly suitable for irregular and serrated fracture sites. Rehydration with a physiological saline solution prior to use is strongly recommended.
